Send in the Clouds!!!

Whether you’re a Commercial Cleaning business or a corporate mammoth like Amazon, we all rely on electronic communications and cloud-based systems to operate.

When those systems are disrupted — case in point, Xero recently experienced a major five-day outage — it can instantly bring a business to a hand-wringing, stand-around-wondering-what-to-do halt 😊

Whilst we can’t cover every possible scenario, and some disruptions would unavoidably stop operations, we have developed, implemented and tested a Business Continuity package for Commercial Cleaners.

If there is a temporary loss of the systems we rely on, we now have locally held systems and procedures to:

• get staff to jobs

• record hours worked

• process payroll

• continue servicing clients

We don’t want to let our clients down, nor would our team want to be stood down when many situations can be worked around with some planning and preparation.

Hopefully we never need these systems, but we will continue testing them periodically to make sure they remain practical and relevant to our operations.

BTW! Having experienced a full day many years ago with no internet and no phone systems…always keep some cash aside in small denominations 😊
